just the mere statement "I am not trying to act better than you" its like o woah! wait a freakn minute u think your husband out ranks mine so therefore u think your better than me?

So I have been inspired to actually start blogging by Military Spouse Magazine, I had all good intentions of starting off with something well anything but a rant.... it looks like we will have no such luck as someone wasted about a half and hour of my life which made me block the person and change my status to some things in life really piss me the f off.... wives that like to wear their husbands rank, last time i checked my husband busted his @ to earn it and I support him that's why I wear his RING not his rank! Secondly wives who try to bust rank, and when u dont answer what rank your husband is because your being polite because you know your husband out ranks theirs - and then they say well its just a question I wasnt trying to act better than you -- and you reply with you wouldnt be better than me because WIVES DONT WEAR RANK and my husband out ranks yours.. futher more and I am just trying to be helpful by saying you may want to learn how to read patches rank, because then you will easily say hi to people and know their title and last name at functions and in passing....... seriously not trying to be a bitch and trying to be helpful but
the conversation is as follows (this is a wife in the same company whose husband has been deployed with mine the past year and asked me for the millionth time this morning (yes like sent me repeated messages this morning) what rank my husband was -- numerous pictures of my husband are on my FB with his rank clearly displayed)

  • just look there
  • so when you are at things and people are in uniform it makes it easy to address the person and make conversation
